I’m really proud of this article. It brings together many of the things I’ve been learning, exploring, and reflecting on recently. It paints a picture of interconnectedness — an understanding or point of view I believe is urgently needed in these times of separation. In part one of this two-part series, I explore the physical side of our interconnectedness — how breath unites us with forests and strangers, how your skin listens to light, pressure, and humidity, how microbiomes shift with every journey, and how even your heart and brain create fields that ripple into the world. It’s a journey into the hidden exchanges that make “you” less an island and more a thread woven into a vast, living tapestry.
And I promise — almost all my claims are backed by science 😉
